Downloading e-books for use offline

Many of the EBSCOHost e-books can be downloaded to your computer or mobile device for 7 days*.  Follow these preliminary steps:

1. Visit Adobe's Sign In page to set up a free account username and password.

2. Go here to download the free Adobe Digital Editions (ADE) e-book reader to your computer.

3. Create a free My EBSCOHost account.  You can search the library catalog, choose an EBSCOHost e-book and create an account there.

Now, whenever you are using EBSCO ebooks and see this link "Download This eBook (Offline)", you can save that book to your ADE reader for use offline for 7 days.*

* Keep in mind:

 Have an Apple product?  You can read these EBSCO e-books on  your iPad, iPhone, etc with the Bluefire app.  Details here.

 When you download an EBSCO ebook you are checking it out and no one else can use that e-book for the 7 days you have it.

 Simply use the "eBook Full Text" link if you want to read the book online without downloading.
